This animated short was made entirely without AI. Created by Illogic Studio (Montpellier, France), this little gem took a year to produce and involved over a hundred people. All the art was hand-drawn and painted by humans using traditional techniques (albeit with 2025 tools...), which you can see on their website where they’ve posted the original storyboards. The song in the background is "Le Mal-Aimé" (The Unloved) by Claude François, from 1974.
