If there is one science fiction series that fascinated me when I was a child, it was Logan's run. The car of Logan's run, the fruit of the imagination of its authors from the late 70s, had an exceptional design as it mixed curves and angles. I have remained fascinated by it all my life. When I saw the design of the Spectre 1, its balanced lines quickly reminded me of this childhood memory, and that's why this bike amazes me.

Specter Bike is a Belgian company that assembles its Specter 1 models at its headquarters located in Wondelgem, in Flanders. The Specters are custom-made, the electronic, software and hardware components are designed and developed with their own technology or by associating technologies that are in the air of time (Gate Carbon Belt, ENVIOLO automatic gears shifter, 4G, bluetooth, large touch screen, etc....).

Specter 1 was presented at the Eurobike of 2022, since then it is sold either on the Specter Bike website where it is possible to bring your own configuration (custom color, frame size, handlebar position), or by specialized stores in Belgium and the Netherlands.

There are two models of Specter 1: the Specter 1 equipped with a mid-drive motor and a removable battery and the Specter 1 Long Range equipped with two motors (mid-drive motor and front wheel motor) and two non-removable batteries.
