LITZ.MO "Light Mobility " is a new brand from Taiwan that leverages decades of expertise from its parent company, Yuanchuan International. Yuanchuan has long specialized in manufacturing high-end composite materials and carbon fiber.
Since 2022, LITZ.MO's carbon fiber models have been featured at international trade shows like Eurobike and Taipeicycle, where they have won awards for their elegant and cutting-edge design.
Among these impressive models, their latest concept, the LITZMO ER-01, seems poised for success if it ever makes it to market.
For now, the LITZMO EM-05 PRO, EM-05, and EV-01 are sold exclusively in the Taiwanese market. Hopefully, they will soon be available under a Western brand name. Their main strength is not just well-designed smart e-bikes with great finishes, but also their professional, fresh, and youthful communication style, which is something I really appreciate.

LITZMO EM-05 PRO Design
The EM-05 PRO draws its inspiration from a minimalist and lightweight design. It features a step-thru frame geometry with a top tube that runs parallel to the in-tube battery housing.
According to the brand, the ridges on each side of the front fork are inspired by the shape of water droplets. While the aesthetic is clearly central to the EM-05 PRO’s design, and while the website presents its e-bikes with a poetic flair, the model's name lacks the same finesse and coherence, failing to inspire any lyrical flight.
The elegance and streamlined design are undeniable. The carefully crafted carbon fiber frame, fork, and crankset clearly benefit from well-considered expertise.
The total weight of the Litzmo EM-05 PRO, including all components, is 17.5 kg (38.5 lbs). The ultra-light carbon fiber frame and rigid front fork contribute significantly to this. The frame alone weighs just 2 kg (4.4 lbs).
The UL-01 crankset is made from carbon fiber, with each arm weighing just 98g (0.22 lbs). The entire crankset weighs 310g (0.68 lbs), and the ultra-compact chainring adds 490g (1.08 lbs).
The world’s lightest road carbon crank?
The 360 Wh battery, integrated into the downtube, is the Han-Win Technology HWT-1002-EA-S50 model. It weighs 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs) and can be fast-charged in four hours. It features an INNO BMS and INNO Safety technology, which improves battery life, reduces the risk of cell micro-shorts, and includes an energy-saving hibernate mode.
The mid-drive motor is a DAPU M65MS, a 200W model with 60Nm of torque. It weighs only 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs) and is designed to withstand temperatures up to 180°C (356°F), equipped with an integrated temperature sensor. The motor has an IP65 rating.
The electric assist system has five modes (Eco, Basic, Active, Sport, and Power). It is equipped with an 11-speed Shimano transmission and 180mm Shimano Cuess hydraulic disc brakes. The bike comes with 700 x 42C tires.
The EM-05 PRO is available in two sizes: Small, for riders up to 1.70m (5.5'), and Medium, for those up to 1.85m (6'). Both the seat post and handlebars are adjustable.
Range:
The estimated range is 100 km (62 miles) at a maximum speed of 25 km/h (15.5 mph). The bike has a maximum load capacity of 110 kg (242 lbs).
That's a very common practice; some manufacturers don't highlight connectivity features in their technical specifications. The equipment is straightforward: both Bluetooth and GPS are integrated into the EM-05 PRO.
The HMI screen provides real-time information on the motor's power output, speed, pedal assist level, and battery level. The assist levels can be changed manually.
The LITZMO EM-05 PRO is equipped with the LITZMO SMART Z application, which is available in both Traditional Chinese and English.
Performance Monitoring and Trip Tracking
The app offers a comprehensive overview of riding data, providing real-time tracking of key metrics. It allows for the monitoring of current speed, trip duration, distance covered, and even altitude and calories burned. All ride data is automatically saved for future reference.
Security Features
SMART Z incorporates several features designed to enhance security for the e-bike.
Vehicle Location: Through integration with Google Maps, the app provides the ability to pinpoint the e-bike’s precise location at any moment.
Anti-theft System: A dedicated anti-theft system can be activated for additional security.
Tilt Sensor Alert: The application uses a built-in tilt sensor. If the bike is moved or shaken, SMART Z immediately sends a push notification, along with the vehicle's real-time location.
Low Battery Reminder: A low battery alert can be configured with a custom threshold. The app sends a notification when the battery level drops, which helps in planning charging schedules and avoiding a dead battery.
Vehicle Status and Diagnostics
The app provides essential tools for e-bike maintenance. Its one-click diagnostic feature allows for a quick check of the health of critical components such as the battery, dashboard, and electronic control systems, ensuring the bike remains in optimal condition.

It's always disappointing to get a beautiful new smart e-bike and find a flimsy, incomplete, and poorly translated user manual at the bottom of the box. When I write my articles, I typically rely on information from the user manual to get the most detailed specs on an e-bike.
In the case of the Litzmo EM-05 PRO, the user manual and the app guide are both excellent. The quality of the graphic design and the writing speaks to a high level of professionalism, which reassures the buyer about the quality of the after-sales service.

This e-bike is unfortunately limited to the Taiwanese market for now, with only two sizes available and local speed restrictions, even though the motor can handle speeds up to 32 km/h (20 mph). This is a shame because the Litzmo EM-05 PRO is a very visually striking e-bike, and I appreciate its two-tone design (thanks for the Pantone codes).
The integrated Bluetooth and GPS technology is straightforward and perfectly suited for the services offered in the app. The most impressive aspect of the e-bike is its weight-to-equipment ratio and the unconventional carbon fiber design. Personally, I could see it doing very well on the European market, perhaps with a lighter motor and a carbon belt drive instead of the 11-speed transmission, which is likely essential for tackling the hills of Taiwan.
Ultimately, writing about this bike and discovering Litzmo has been a great experience because of the brand’s young, fresh, and aesthetic-focused communication. Their approach to design is poetic and imaginative, proving that intelligence isn't just in the technical specifications; it’s rooted in creativity and graphic design.
