As we wrap up late 2025, Taiwan-based LITZ.MO (Light Mobility) is proving to be incredibly prolific, checking off every milestone on the roadmap they unveiled at Taipei 2025. After recently revealing the EM-05 EVO—a remastered, full-carbon version of its predecessor (the EM-05 Pro) weighing in at just 15 kg (33 lbs)—the brand is shifting gears toward something much more robust.
Leveraging the high-end composite and carbon fiber manufacturing expertise of its parent company, Yuanchuan International, Litzmo is set to become the world’s first manufacturer of a carbon fiber fat bike in 2026: the ER-01, weighing only 27 kg (~59.5 lbs).

Frame, fork, and handlebars are all crafted from carbon fiber with an incredible level of finish. The ER-01 breaks away from the classic, bulky "fat bike" aesthetic. Litzmo brings absolute modernity to the frame design, incorporating geometric lines while giving them the softened, fluid, and refined volume seen in their previous models. Though it’s a fat bike, the ER-01 was specifically thought out and designed for urban use.
The signature curved-geometry frame design has become a true brand identity for Litzmo—and honestly, every model they produce is a visual hit. The ER-01 is available in three colors: Ink Green, Drift Blue, and Pure Black (Matte).

Litzmo ER-01's total weight, including all components, is 27 kg (~59.5 lbs). Even the front suspension fork is made of carbon.
The Shengyi DGWH2S Rear Hub Motor (250W~300W), weighing 2.9 kg, delivers up to 60 Nm of torque, and an expected range of 100 km (~62 miles) is achieved with a removable Panasonic battery (48V / 16.5AH) with a power output of 900W; the maximum speed is 25 km/h (~15.5 mph).
Both the motor and battery assembly are IPX5 certified.
The fatbike has a maximum load capacity of approximately 150 kg (~330 lbs).
On the drivetrain side, the ER-01 is a single-speed setup featuring five electric assistance modes: ECO, Tour, Active, Sport, and Turbo.
It is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes and Veetireco 20X4.0 Speedster tires.
Interestingly, each tire weighs 1.315 kg (2.9lbs)... meaning the tires alone are nearly as heavy as the motor!
The seat cushion features a sleek design without sacrificing utility. It offers "double storage" with a small bag located at the rear of the saddle and a storage basket integrated into the frame.
The rear light is seamlessly built into the frame—another example of Litzmo's superior finishing.

For the front lighting, Litzmo chose the Dutch brand Spanninga, specialists in bike lighting since 1918. They’ve equipped the ER-01 with the Cylon model (named after the robots in Battlestar Galactica).
Features a six-core LED with a fish-eye lens and a COB LED position light.
Delivers 120 lux with a visibility range of 6,000 meters.
Waterproof rating: IPX6.

The ER-01 utilizes the CANBUS protocol for communication, allowing seamless data flow between the motor, battery, HMI, and proximity sensors. For security, the rear hub motor can be locked remotely via the dedicated app.
The interface is intentionally minimalist: a 1.3-inch high-brightness B/W monochrome OLED HMI. This was likely a design choice to allow the user's smartphone to take center stage on the handlebars, acting as the primary hub for the app's full suite of features. Naturally, it includes Bluetooth and GPS modules.
Litzmo also introduces "Smart Lighting" with the Custom LITZMO Welcome Lighting—an automatic lateral light that activates as you approach the bike.

The LITZMO EM-05 PRO is equipped with the LITZMO SMART Z application, which is available in both Traditional Chinese and English.
Performance Monitoring and Trip Tracking
The app offers a comprehensive overview of riding data, providing real-time tracking of key metrics. It allows for the monitoring of current speed, trip duration, distance covered, and even altitude and calories burned. All ride data is automatically saved for future reference.
Security Features
SMART Z incorporates several features designed to enhance security for the e-bike.
Vehicle Location: Through integration with Google Maps, the app provides the ability to pinpoint the e-bike’s precise location at any moment.
Anti-theft System: A dedicated anti-theft system can be activated for additional security.
Tilt Sensor Alert: The application uses a built-in tilt sensor. If the bike is moved or shaken, SMART Z immediately sends a push notification, along with the vehicle's real-time location.
Low Battery Reminder: A low battery alert can be configured with a custom threshold. The app sends a notification when the battery level drops, which helps in planning charging schedules and avoiding a dead battery.
Vehicle Status and Diagnostics
The app provides essential tools for e-bike maintenance. Its one-click diagnostic feature allows for a quick check of the health of critical components such as the battery, dashboard, and electronic control systems, ensuring the bike remains in optimal condition.

The Bottom Line...
With this unique carbon fiber fat bike, Litzmo is offering a model with perfect, modern finishes, successfully creating a different kind of e-bike while maintaining its brand identity. Fat bikes aren't usually known for their aesthetics, but here, the carbon fiber frame and design are clearly destined for the city.
In an urban environment where one needs to feel confident and secure amidst heavy car and scooter traffic, the ER-01 provides a lighter, more agile alternative. To me, the primary appeal of this model lies in the shared experience: the extended saddle length allows for a passenger, and let’s be honest—a ride is always better for two.
